The Collegiate Museum - with two locations - gives insight into San Candido’s richly documented past.
Collegiate Museum 1 - Chapter House "Granary"
via Atto 2
It houses sacred art, the cathedral treasure and a remarkable collection of manuscripts from ten centuries when San Candido was under the rule of Freising.
Collegiate Museum 2 - Franciscan monastery
via P.-P.-Rainer 19
It shows archaeological finds from the Roman period and a comprehensive folkloristic collection of everyday life in the Hofmark San Candido in the 18th and 19th centuries.
In summer, temporary exhibitions are held in the former refectory of the monastery.
