The bourgeoisie created venerable residences in San Candido, such as Pernwerth, today's pharmacy, or Thurn, the semi-detached house Zacher, or Frankenegg, in Via Duca Tassilo 17. After the great fire in 1554, Zacharias Frankenreiter acquired the house and extended it. Thus the special hall on the first floor was created, which was later adorned with stucco decorations, coats of arms and masks.
